Daryl is a big fan of the music of the 50's and 60's. I took him to see the new show at the Maui Theatre, Burn N Love. It was fantastic! Elvis was amazing, his voice smooth as silk and he moved just like the legend!
Tim and Dean bought two original abstracts by Daryl Millard on their vacation. Pictured is "Magician's Hat" hanging in their Ontario home, it adds vibrant color and dare I say a little magic! Mahalo for sharing.
New collectors David and Mary Jayne were visiting from Washington state and fell in love with Daryl's art. Here they are with their new painting, "Beach Shack Tikis." We have the most wonderful collectors!
George and Bernadette rung in the new year with their third Daryl Millard painting, "Golden Heliconia." Here it is beautifully displayed with a light burl wood frame. Daryl's art has a unique quality and aura that fills the room with a rich, romantic glow.
"For anyone who loves Hawaii, Daryl Millard's paintings in what I call a classic vintage style are a wonderful way to bring that old-time laid-back feeling home. His paintings settle my mind and quiet my spirit. They are truly unique. If you are visiting Maui you won't regret taking some time in Lahaina to see this gallery. Daryl and Vanessa do their own framing and those frames are an art unto themselves enhancing the feel and theme of each painting. I met Daryl many years ago when he had a studio in Solana Beach, California. For you Southern Californians, I urge you to check out Daryl's work in scenes from La Jolla and Torrey Pines -- these are rare gems from the San Diego County coastline." Gary Ward
