A Hui Hou Kakou

9/26/2014

It was lovely visiting with Gary and Karen this week, they tried their first Mai Tai cocktails. We had fun catching up and viewing Daryl's newest master pieces. They added to their collection a new moonscape of Lahaina, congratulations! We trust it brings you years and years of happiness reminiscing the beauty of Maui. A hui hou kakou (until we meet again)

Humble Beginnings

9/16/2014

When Daryl was 20 he lived on Galoa, a remote island of Fiji for six months. Recently we found this old photo taken 30 years ago. Daryl will tell you it was one of the best times in his life - living and being creative in and with nature. It was the beginning of his love of island life. You can see one of his first tropical paintings.

Ask for what you want and you will receive it! Bon voyage Lee and all the best for your exciting new adventure!

What Our Clients Are Saying

"For anyone who loves Hawaii, Daryl Millard's paintings in what I call a classic vintage style are a wonderful way to bring that old-time laid-back feeling home. His paintings settle my mind and quiet my spirit. They are truly unique. If you are visiting Maui you won't regret taking some time in Lahaina to see this gallery. Daryl and Vanessa do their own framing and those frames are an art unto themselves enhancing the feel and theme of each painting. I met Daryl many years ago when he had a studio in Solana Beach, California. For you Southern Californians, I urge you to check out Daryl's work in scenes from La Jolla and Torrey Pines -- these are rare gems from the San Diego County coastline." Gary Ward
